guys here's the deal. I have followed this band for a long time, seen lots of people come and go. Maybe to point Chris is hard to work with, but he's motivated. I have to say that from experience, knowing people that are driven to succeed to a lot of people they seem hard to work with, specially when the people that say that are not motivated or don't want to get to the same point. I don't believe Chris to be an asshole or a dictator just that he has goals and when someone don't want to work toward a common goal it's better to let them go. I know that in the music business a lot of people are in it just for the party and the fun but don't want to work, and I believe that has been the curse of Deathead. Chris has been surrounded by people that just want the party

As you all know, I have known Chris forever. I do have to say that the only way you can really say that he is an asshole is that he knows what he wants and wont give up til he gets it. As far as a lot of the band members that have come and gone, it all came down to them personally. Either they were not willing to work for what had to be done, or they were just taking a free ride. I have had Chris come to me so many times and say, "dude, I'm so willing to work with these guys, but they just don't want to work with me, how do I work with someone that isn't interested in working on their half"?
Chris is a hella songwriter and he writes a lot, he's always said that he wished he would have a partner to write with so help take some of the pressure off himself, as well as someone that is going to help promote the band. His biggest gripe to me was always that most of the other members wanted this and that, but wouldn't put any effort into achieving that. They would tell him what they wanted from being in the band, but wouldn't help spread the word of the band, or even put the money or time into it. For those that interested I know for a fact that almost all of the shirts the band ever printed came out of Chris' own pocket with no contribution from the band. Now tell me your opinions but to me that seems like they are just riding the wave and letting him do all the work. That is not a situation in my eyes, but someone that is just taking advantage of a situation they walked into.

Well put stumpy, but look mate. The way I see it is that the guys that left, there is a reason and maybe it's none of our business. who cares if anyone is an asshole or what? I really don't. What I do care about is the music. If I can get passed Rob Halfords case, I can deal with someone being difficult or an arsehole. Simply the way I see it, is the band wasn't working, so a change had to be made. If you read Chris's post he said that Mikey CHOSE to leave, he was asked to stay and didn't want to. No big deal.
From the things I've picked up I sensed Mikey being a bit arrogant and maybe not real comfortable with himself, that is just my opinion. There is new guys in the band so can we please let this shite go? Let's move ahead. Clearly Chris and Deathead has, so why dont we?
Those two are no longer in the band, so forget em. There will be more music to come from Deathead and that is all I care about. I don't care if he were to get Prince and Michael Jackson just so long as the band still continues to pump out the tunes like they have already written.
A band is greater than the sum of it's parts.
